🔒 Privacy Policy
Version: July 13, 2026
1. Introduction
My name is Sabri Alpan (sabalp2012+support@gmail.com). I am the sole developer of the app “Schicht25”, which is offered free of charge on the Google Play Store. Protecting your privacy is important to me. I comply with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Responsibility
Note: Where necessary, joint responsibility under Article 26 GDPR may exist between the provider and Google. The primary data protection responsibility for Google services lies with Google Ireland Limited.
3. What data is processed?
- 🔒 No personal data: You do not need to register to use the app. The app does not process personal data such as email, name, address, or phone number.
- 📱 Pseudonymous usage data: Technical usage data (e.g. device identifiers, app behavior) may be processed via Google services such as AdMob or Firebase. These are considered pseudonymized under the GDPR.
- 🎯 Google AdMob (Advertising): Banner ads are displayed to finance the app. Consent for personalized or non-personalized ads is obtained via the UMP SDK after the trial period. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- 📊 Firebase Analytics: This app uses Firebase Analytics, an analysis service from Google, to analyze usage, fix errors, and continuously improve the app (Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, our legitimate interest). This involves collecting only pseudonymized data linked to a random user identifier. This data includes:
- Usage Behavior and Settings: Information is collected about which features you use and how the app is individually configured. This data is used to improve the app. It is only used for ad personalization if you have given your consent.
- Regional and Time-Based App Configuration: Your set country and federal state/canton (this is necessary for the correct calculation of school holidays and public holidays), as well as the duration of app usage since installation.
- Subscription and Ad Status: Detailed recording of the entire subscription history, purchase processes, the current subscription status (e.g., active/inactive, online vs. offline validation), and the current ad phase. This data is used for the correct control of ad delivery (eCPM optimization).
- User Consents and Data Protection: Logging of your decision regarding the consent to personalized advertising (Ad Consent status) and the logging of requests for data deletion.
- Technical Stability and Errors: The app version used, error events during ad loading, and issues with Google Play Services (e.g., during the billing process) for troubleshooting and ensuring app stability.
Important: An active subscription has no influence on the basic data collection of Firebase Analytics; it only serves to transmit the status for ad optimization.
- Purpose of data processing: The collected data helps analyze app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features. Google processes this data on behalf of the app and also uses it for its own purposes, as described in Google’s privacy policies.
- ⚙️ Firebase Remote Config: Used to control specific app features. No personal data is processed.
- ☁️ Google AutoBackup: The app may store data locally, which is automatically backed up to the cloud by Google. The app has no access to these backups. Google’s privacy policies apply.
- 📅 Calendar Sync: At the user’s request, shift schedules, appointments, notes, and vacation/absence entries can be synced to the local device calendar. The data does not leave the device and is stored locally only. The sync can be disabled at any time and all synced entries can be deleted within the app. This requires the "Read Calendar" and "Write Calendar" permissions.
- 🕒 Storage duration: Consent data is stored locally and only for as long as necessary for the app’s functionality. It is deleted upon uninstallation or manual removal.
- 💳 Subscription for ad-free usage: The app offers a paid subscription to remove ads. Payment is handled exclusively via the Google Play Store. The developer does not receive any payment or personal data.
Legal basis for payment processing: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Users can cancel or pause their subscription at any time in the Google Play Store under “Manage subscriptions”.

You can delete previously stored analytics data in the app under “Privacy” using the [Delete] button. Retrospective deletion will only occur if technically feasible and legally permissible.
Withdrawal and cancellation: You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. The lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected.
You can cancel your subscription at any time in the Google Play Store under “Manage subscriptions”. After cancellation, it remains active until the end of the term, after which ads will be displayed again.

The transfer of personal data to third countries (e.g. USA) is based on Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Article 46 GDPR.
